Copyright Policy

What we do and do not host

Customers upload or link footage into a private workspace. Rendered clips are delivered to the customer who made them. We do not operate a public gallery of customer content, and we do not index or share it. Where a customer publishes a clip, it is published to their own connected social accounts, and the platform it appears on has its own reporting process you may also want to use.

Sending us a notice

Email virat@clpx.video with the subject line “Copyright notice” and include:

• Your name, address, and an email address we can reply to.
• Identification of the work you say is infringed — a link to the original, or enough detail to identify it.
• Identification of the material you are complaining about, and where you saw it, with enough detail for us to locate it.
• A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by you, your agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Send notices in the language of the original if you can, and one work or group of works per notice. Incomplete notices slow everything down; we will come back to you rather than ignore you.

What happens next

We acknowledge notices and aim to respond within five business days. Where a notice is valid we remove or disable access to the material identified, and we tell the customer what was removed and why, passing on your notice unless the law prevents it. We do not disclose a customer’s personal details except where required by law or a valid legal order.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, email the same address with the subject line “Counter-notice”, identifying the material and where it was, explaining why you believe it was removed in error, confirming the accuracy of your statement, and signing it. We will pass it to the complainant. If they do not pursue the matter, we may restore the material.

Repeat infringers

We keep a record of notices we accept. Accounts that repeatedly infringe are suspended and then closed, in line with our Acceptable Use Policy.

Misuse of this process

Sending a notice you know to be false — to silence criticism, or to take down a competitor — can carry liability under the law that applies to you. Please only use this process for genuine rights complaints.

Other rights

Use the same address for trade mark complaints, publicity or personality-rights complaints, and requests about footage of you personally. Say which kind of complaint it is in the subject line so it reaches the right place.
