Acceptable Use Policy

Bring footage you are allowed to use

Every video you submit must be one you own, one you created, or one you have permission to edit and publish — for example under a creator’s clipping programme, a licence, a client agreement, or a permissive licence attached to the footage.

Do not submit footage you found and have no right to republish, footage obtained by circumventing a paywall or access control, or footage whose source platform forbids the use you intend.

Respect the platforms you post to

Connected accounts must be yours or accounts you are authorised to operate. Follow each platform’s rules on automation, posting frequency, disclosure and originality. Do not use CLPX to run engagement schemes, artificial amplification, or networks of accounts pretending to be unrelated people.

Do not misrepresent people

CLPX edits your footage; it does not synthesise people. Do not use it to make someone appear to say something they did not say, to impersonate a real person or organisation, or to present edited footage as an unedited record when the edit changes its meaning in a way that would mislead.

Content that is not allowed

• Content that is unlawful where you are, where we are, or where you publish it.
• Sexual content involving minors, or any sexualised depiction of a minor. We report this and close the account.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery.
• Content that incites or promotes violence, terrorism, or hatred against people based on a protected characteristic.
• Harassment of, or targeted abuse against, a private individual.
• Fraud, scams, or claims about money, health or investments that you know to be false.
• Malware, or material designed to compromise a device or account.

Do not abuse the service

• No reselling, white-labelling or reprocessing CLPX output as your own clipping service without a written agreement with us.
• No sharing one account across unrelated businesses to avoid plan limits. Add seats instead.
• No scraping, automated access outside published interfaces, or attempts to extract our models, templates or prompts.
• No probing, load-testing or interfering with our infrastructure, or with other customers’ work.
• No circumventing plan limits, usage metering or billing.

Sanctions

You may not use CLPX if you are subject to applicable sanctions, or are located in a comprehensively sanctioned country or territory.

How we enforce this

We do not routinely review your footage. We act on reports, on lawful requests, and on signals of abuse. Depending on what we find we may contact you, remove specific material, limit a feature, suspend an account, or close it. Serious cases — child sexual abuse material above all — are reported to the appropriate authorities.
